Cadillac celebrates 115 years this year and to commemorate the event; GM has revealed a limited production Glacier Metallic Edition of the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V for die hard enthusiasts.
Just 115 units will be built with each one featuring a unique lick of light grey paint. Aside from the exclusive shade, you also receive 19-inch alloy rims with Midnight Silver tint, dark red Brembo brake calipers hiding behind and illuminated door handles.
Inside, the front bench has been replaced with two Jet Black Recaro bucket seats, sunroof, rear camera mirror and the latest Cadillac multimedia system.
A performance data recorder with Cosworth’s Toolbox analysis software is also present enabling owners to record lap times on their favourite tracks,

Power is drawn from a hearty supercharged 6.2-litre V8 petrol motor rated at a whopping 640 horsepower and 855 Nm of torque. This allows the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V Glacier Metallic Edition to zip to 100 km/h in a respectable 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 321 km/h.
Mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the model also features cylinder deactivation, and Cadillac’s premium Performance Traction Mangement system that allows owners to select from five track derived modes and a launch control function.
Cadillac has confirmed 105 out of the 115 models will be available to purchase later this month. What they’ll do with the other ten models remains a mystery. One or two models will without a doubt be retained by GM.
