2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo confrimed

Nismo has had their hands on all but a handful of Nissan models over the years with the GT-R and Juke springing to mind immediately. With those catering to a niche market, the tuning house has something for everyone now with the 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo.

Riding on 18-inch alloys, the Nismo Sentra has been rumoured for the past couple of months, and as of the 2017 LA Auto Show, it is indeed a reality. Available in black, white, silver and dark grey, the enhanced sedan proudly wears a rear spoiler along with an aggressive set of front and rear bumpers.

With correct badging attached, the 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo is powered by a potent 1.8-litre turbocharged inline four cylinder motor lovingly tuned by the brand’s in-house tuner to generate an impressive 188 horsepower and 249 Nm torque.

Power will still be sent to the front wheels while mated to either a CVT or a manual transmission for those who want additional control.

Inside, high-quality material lines each seat, the steering wheel is now wrapped in leather and Alcantara with the only interior theme being available in Charcoal Black with red trim. Presumably, these models are to be equipped with navigation, Bluetooth, media inputs, cruise control and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel to control the turbo power unit.
