After successfully launching the 2017 Nissan Patrol Super Safari 5-door earlier this year, UAE owners rejoice as the 3-door model is now on sale across the UAE and other GCC nations.
As you would expect, the vehicle rides on a shorter wheelbase, sports fewer doors and seats but it hasn’t lost the ability to carve through the desert like a hot knife through butter.
Identical paint schemes can be applied to the short wheel base 2017 Nissan Patrol Super Safari, either white or a combination of white and grey or gold and grey. Both paint options are complemented with dark 17-inch alloy rims, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, grey fenders and traditional Super Safari decals.
While an electric front winch can be fitted optionally with the dealer, front and rear tow hooks and rear locking differentials are standard.
Similarly to the 5-door model, these models feature a multitude of standard and optional comfort and tech options including, navigation, cool box, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control, media inputs and CD player.
On the safety front, 2017 Nissan Patrol Super Safari SUV’s are equipped with dual front airbags, ABS, Vehicle Dynamic Control and tyre pressure sensors all as standard.
Power is drawn from a 4.8-litre straight six cylinder DOHC engine rated at 248 horsepower and 420 Nm or torque while mated to either a 5-speed automatic gearbox with manual modes. We expect the 5-speed manual box to be available too.
