Entering its second generation, the 2017 Kia Cadenza is now available for purchase in the Emirates. With a complete overhaul of both the interior and engine, reviews have been very favourable so far for the South Korean sedan.
Now with an elegantly crafted body, new headlight patterns ‘sync’ up to the smoothed out lines running down each side of the vehicle. Kia now offers two front grille choices, Diamond Butterfly, which as you guessed has a diamond pattern and Intaglio which has a vertical design.
As for options, 2017 models have an array to choose from; wireless phone charging, blind spot detection mirrors, heads-up display, adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist and an automated boot which pops open if the key is nearby for at least three seconds enabling easier access if your hands are full.
Kia has reworked the chassis by taking out most of the heavy metal and replaced it with Aluminium.
Underneath the bonnet is a 3.3-litre V6 petrol motor powering the two front wheels. Customers can choose between a 270 horsepower motor hooked up to a six-speed automatic transmission or an eight-speed auto mated to a 284 engine with the same displacement.
As of the 27th of July 2016, the 2017 Kia Cadenza is officially for sale in the UAE at a starting price of AED 84,900 and top trim models are priced at AED 129,900.
