Good news everyone! Jaguar Middle East has announced when their take on the SUV market is destined for the Middle East, and it’s a lot sooner than you may think.
Yesterday, exclusive Jaguar dealer Al Tayer Motors confirmed that the luxurious SUV is ready to roll out in the UAE in May 2016! That’s just over a month away! And for those wanting to the very first ones to own it, Al Tayer Motors has started taking pre-orders. They have said customers have been anticipating the launch for some time, which prompted the advance booking.
UAE Prices have been confirmed, as have five trims available from the get go. Which are as follows:

If your weapon of choice is top trim, then you’ll be happy to know the same power unit transitions its way from Jaguar’s very own F-Type sports car. It may not be the grumbling V8, however that 380 horsepower spewing V6 is good claimed 0-100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. To put that in perspective, it’s quicker than both the Infiniti QX70 and Lexus RX350.
The model launches as a 2017 model and comes with a five years/65,000 km free service contract as well as five years/ 250,000 km warranty and roadside assistance in the UAE.
Al Tayer Motors have been busy recently with new SUV’s, as last week in a super secret event they previewed the Maserati Levante, which is due out later this year or early 2017.
