Infiniti’s take on the Nissan Patrol has hit showrooms across the US, and it’s only a matter of time before the residents of the UAE can soak up all of the luxuries the 2017 Infiniti QX80 has on offer.
A set of 20-inch alloys come as standard along with auto-leveling suspension, LED headlights, automatic rear hatch and LED fog lights. On top of all that, you can add 22-inch alloys, built in Wi-Fi, dark chrome trim, tinted headlights and much more.
The mighty 2017 Infiniti QX80 is available in three different versions, QX80, QX80 4WD and QX80 4WD Limited, with all models equipped with eight seats covered in high-grade leather or seven seats if one would prefer a more executive feel.
Multiple options if not all of them return from the previous year including navigation, Bluetooth, fridge, rear entertainment package, cruise control and so on. Additionally, Driver Assistance packages receive Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection as standard.
A single power unit is available to move all three versions. One V8 5.6-litre petrol motor mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox rated at 400 horsepower. Packaged alongside is Adaptive Shift Control and manual shifting modes as well as Downshift Rev-matching.
As the title suggests, US prices start at $63,850 which equates to around AED 234,500 for the rear-wheel drive model that is not commonly available here in the Gulf. Top of the range models stand in with a price of $89,450 or AED 328,550.
