Last year, Nissan launched the redesigned GT-R. With the Japanese brand offering two different version of the sports car, a third model is to debut in a few weeks time. This is the 2017 GT-R Track Edition with added flair.
2017 GT-R Track Edition models will go on sale this Summer in the States with other markets to follow shortly. Prices start from $127,900 or AED 469,800.
As always, a 3.8-litre twin turbocharged V6 hides underneath the bonnet powering all four wheels. Mated to a six-speed dual clutch gearbox, 2017 GT-R Track Editions exert 565 horsepower out the tailpipes. It’s not the 600 hp NISMO versions pump out as it sits level pegged with standard GT-R models.
Standard features include 20-inch forged alloy rims, front fenders borrowed from the NISMO version and a unique carbon-fibre rear spoiler. Inside, each model is fitted with black and red interior with Recaro racing seats making up the front row and the traditional 11 switch setup to alter all areas of the vehicle.
Other standard features include navigation, BOSE premium sound system, RearView Monitor and the brands latest mobile app that allows you to start the engine remotely. We think that’s an excellent selling point for any Nissan in the UAE due to the immense summer heat.
New York Motor show kicks off on the 14th of April 2017 and will continue onto the 23rd. You can expect many other new and updated models to be on show during the event.
Until the 2017 GT-R Track Edition launches, we’ve got new Nissan GT-R and used Nissan GT-R for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
