The McLaren 12C, originally known as the MP4-12C, marked McLaren Automotive's return to the road car market in 2011, following the iconic McLaren F1. This high-performance supercar was designed to deliver exceptional driving dynamics, blending Formula 1™ inspired engineering with innovative technologies.

In 2012, McLaren introduced the 12C Spider, a convertible variant featuring a retractable hardtop that operates in under 17 seconds.
