The Lynk & Co 08 is a mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV introduced by the Chinese-Swedish automaker Lynk & Co, a joint venture between Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car Group. Launched in 2023, the 08 combines modern design with advanced hybrid technology, offering an extended electric driving range.

Performance and Powertrain

The Lynk & Co 08 features a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of approximately 585 horsepower and 905 Nm of torque. This setup enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.6 seconds. Equipped with a 39.6 kWh battery, the vehicle offers a CLTC pure electric range of up to 245 kilometers, with a total combined range reaching up to 1,400 kilometers. ​

Exterior and Interior Design

The 08 showcases a sleek and contemporary exterior design, characterized by clean lines and a distinctive front fascia. Inside, the SUV offers a spacious and technologically advanced cabin, featuring amenities such as a panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, and premium materials throughout. 

Charging Capabilities

One of the standout features of the Lynk & Co 08 is its support for DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 33 minutes. This rapid charging capability enhances the vehicle's practicality for both urban commuting and longer journeys. ​

Market Availability

Initially launched in China, the Lynk & Co 08 is set to enter the European market in June 2025. In Europe, it will be available in two trim levels—Core and More—with prices starting at €52,995. The vehicle's impressive electric range positions it as a leading plug-in hybrid option in the European market. ​
