Lamborghini Temerario

The Lamborghini Temerario is a groundbreaking plug-in hybrid super sports car introduced by Lamborghini in August 2024 during Monterey Car Week. Serving as the successor to the Huracán, the Temerario marks a significant evolution in Lamborghini's lineup, being the first model from the brand to feature a twin-turbocharged V8 engine coupled with three electric motors.

Performance and Powertrain

At the heart of the Temerario lies a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering 800 PS (588 kW) at 9,000–9,750 rpm and 730 Nm of torque between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm. This internal combustion engine is complemented by three electric motors—two positioned on the front axle and one integrated between the engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Collectively, the hybrid system produces a combined output of 920 PS (677 kW), enabling the Temerario to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 343 km/h.

Design and Aerodynamics

The Temerario showcases a design that balances Lamborghini's iconic sharp-edged aesthetics with enhanced aerodynamic efficiency. While retaining the brand's signature aggressive stance, the vehicle incorporates refined lines and curves that not only contribute to its visual appeal but also optimize airflow and stability at high speeds.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the Temerario offers a driver-focused cabin equipped with advanced technology and premium materials. The interior features a trio of user-configurable digital displays: a 12.3-inch instrument panel, an 8.4-inch central infotainment screen, and a 9.1-inch passenger display. These interfaces provide seamless access to vehicle information, entertainment options, and connectivity features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The inclusion of the Lamborghini Vision Unit (LAVU) system further enhances the driving experience by offering access to new functions and applications.

Market Position and Availability

As the second model in Lamborghini's High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range, the Temerario represents the brand's commitment to integrating electrification into its high-performance lineup. Production is slated to commence in 2025, with pricing expected to start above $300,000.
