Jetour X50

The Proton X50 is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Malaysian automaker Proton. Introduced in 2020, it represents Proton's second SUV offering, following the X70. The X50 is based on the Geely Binyue platform and has been adapted for the Malaysian market with right-hand drive configuration and specific mechanical adjustments.

Performance and Engine Options

The Proton X50 is available with two engine configurations:

• 1.5L Turbocharged Port Fuel Injection (PFI) Engine: This engine delivers 150 PS at 5,500 rpm and 226 Nm of torque between 1,500 to 4,000 rpm.

• 1.5L Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (TGDi) Engine: Exclusive to the Flagship variant, this engine produces 177 PS at 5,500 rpm and 255 Nm of torque from 1,500 to 4,000 rpm.

Both engines are paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that offers manual mode for enhanced driving engagement.
