Volkswagen Middle East has launched the new 2024 Teramont SUV in the UAE. The mid-cycle facelift comes with a whole host of changes that were first showcased in this region at GIMS Qatar 2023.
The 2024 Teramont, starting at AED 187,000 in Abu Dhabi, is now available for pre-booking, with limited-time offers announced by Volkswagen across the country.

The pre-booking offers are valid between 1 November and 31 December 2023.
Exterior Changes
The new model retains the profile of its predecessor, showcasing updated wheel designs ranging from 18 to 21 inches, depending on the trim level. At the front, larger headlamps, now connected with an LED DRL, enhance its modern appeal. The rear tail lamps are also connected with an LED lightbar. The addition of a rear diffuser and larger spoilers contributes to the bold and distinctive look of the new Teramont.
Interior Changes
For the 2024 model year, Volkswagen has prioritized interior enhancements in the new Teramont. Notable upgrades include premium materials, a redesigned dashboard with relocated air vents, and a central 12-inch infotainment touchscreen paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The SUV also features new leatherette upholstery, illuminated scuff plates, and 30-color ambient lighting.

Powertrain Changes
The new Teramont has been equipped with a revamped powertrain under the bonnet, replacing the previous 3.6-litre V6 engine. The updated model now features a turbocharged 2.0-litre TSI engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

While the new engine produces 7hp less than the previous 3.6L engine, it generates an additional 10Nm of torque across a wider rev range. This improvement will enhance both performance and fuel economy, says VW.
Customers have the option to equip the optional 4Motion all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, which is available across the range. Additionally, the towing capacity rating of 2,268kg has been retained.
