Lexus may have two models on display in Frankfurt; facelifted Lexus NX and CT 200h. Elsewhere in Germany is an interesting Lexus RC F flexing its muscles.
Caught throwing down quick lap times in Germany, one-half of the model is covered in black and white camouflage while the top half is open for all to see.
While it’s hard to determine what’s new, the rear end does sport something different, a larger rear spoiler.
Lexus hasn’t mentioned that they are working on a new sporting variant and as this model has been spotted with camo masking the bottom half and a new rear spoiler, many are speculating that this will be an enhanced version.
There is also the possibility that what we’re looking at here is not a new variant of the Lexus RC F and is simply just a refreshed version heading to the next motor show.
We’ll just have to wait and see as this particular Lexus RC F is not on display in Frankfurt.
2017 Lexus RC F
Current models of the sports derived coupe pack quite a punch thanks to a 5-litre V8 engine driving the rear axle. Rated at 467 horsepower and mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
This allows the two-door coupe to launch to 100 km/h in a respectable 4.6 seconds before hitting an electronically capped top speed of 270 km/h.
Prices start at $64,165 or AED 235,678 in the United States.
