2017 Honda Accord launches in UAE

Some time ago, Honda announced a revised 2017 Honda Accord would hit showrooms across the world before the end of the year. It hit showrooms in America a few weeks ago, and it has officially hit showrooms in the Middle East silently.

The 2017 Honda Accord sports a brand new front end giving the vehicle a unique look, and that’s not all. New lines appear on either side that elegantly flow to the rear end, chrome and LED’s are added to the menu as are new 17 and 18-inch rim designs to adorn each corner.

Available in familiar trims, EX, EXL, LX and EX sport, base models are equipped with remote starting, a perfect addition to the UAE as with a press of a button the air conditioning can be turned on before you step inside the vehicle or leave our home/office. Of course, all the standard features such as CD player, fabric upholstery and power accessories are available. Higher trim levels benefit from lane-watch, an all new reverse camera with a wider lens and a premium sound system hooked up to a 7-inch touch screen display with navigation, Bluetooth and media inputs.

In America, there is also another trim level, Sport Special Edition which won’t be available in GCC trim. However, the region will benefit from a new DX trim which offers vehicle stability assist and curtain airbags along with base model options. Both features are not found in competitors base models giving the 2017 Honda Accord a wider market spread.

Powering the front wheels of the revised sedan’s a is standard 2.4-litre four cylinder motor rated at 189 horsepower or a 3.5-litre V6 motor rated at 278 horsepower. Overseas, a hybrid version is available too.
