The Empow is GAC's entry into the compact sports sedan segment. The Empow was launched alongside the second generation of the GS8 SUV. Appearance-wise, the Empow radiates performance, from its wide grille, and sleek headlights, to its quad exhaust pipes at the back. The interior of the Empow is clad in leather and scattered with soft materials all throughout, giving the Empow an executive feel inside. A seven-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment display come standard on the Empow. The Empow is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine putting out 174 horsepower and 270 nm of torque mated to a 7-speed Wet Dual-clutch transmission. That is good for fuel economy but still engaging and powerful to drive.
