Chevrolet Corvette C3 - Upgraded

As far as practical classics go, few cars beat the third generation Chevrolet Corvette. Combining comfort, power, reliability and strikingly good looks, the Corvette C3 was produced over one and a half decades, spanning multiple stylistic changes and engine choices in what would become the brand’s longest-running sports car model. From the early “chrome bumper” cars to the late Pace Car and Collector Edition cars, the Corvette has become a cultural icon of the American mystique and love for the open road.
This particular car is a first-year, matching numbers C3 finished in Le Mans Blue. The car was purchased by us in 2021 and subjected to a meticulous $25,000 USD cosmetic restoration, with upgrades to the steering column (now adjustable), modern Holley Atomic fuel injection, electronic ignition, and modern air conditioning from Classic Auto Air. A properly modernized Corvette, it remains a collectable and exciting while providing many expected comforts of an everyday car, without many of the headaches of classic car ownership.
